Hater Paintball Hatersauce

Hater Paintball is a group that has recently become very popular in the paintball world, as it is the manufacturer of casual clothing, electronic upgrades, and gun graffiti. However, they are originally known for their successful marker lubricant Hatersauce.

Hatersauce was designed with a direct purpose. Whereas marker manufacturers suggest the use of pre-existing lubricants on the market, Hater Paintball designed Hatersauce entirely for paintball marker use.

One of the things that makes Hatersauce so special is its viscosity and ingredients. The viscosity is thinner than that of normal grease based lubricants, so it allows for a lower operating pressure to be used for normal marker functioning. However, the special build of the Sauce makes the grease extremely resistant. This means that you can lengthen the time between marker maintenance. Hater says on average you can expect between 8,000 and 10,000 shots before an average coat of grease will wear out.

The recommended application is specifically for:

  • Spool valve bolts
  • LPR
  • Rams

And will work on all of the following markers:

  • Intimidator
  • DM4/5/6/7
  • Proto Matrix
  • Proto Rail
  • Quest
  • Minion
  • Shocker
  • Epiphany
  • Nerve
  • Marq

Testing of the Hatersauce when it came it showed a definite improvement over standard Dow33 grease. While I was able to lower the input pressure slightly, it wasn’t anything grand to celebrate over. I did lower my dwell by 1ms without any noticeable first shot drop off, where with the Dow33 it would have first shot dropoff at that current setting. Cold weather performance was better also, as apparently the thinner consistency grease was less prone to mucking up as with other lubricants.

Hatersauce is available at Hater Paintball’s online store today at $13.00 for a 1 oz canister, or $16.50 for an Extra Large container.

Pros

  • Consistency allows for lower operating pressure and electronic settings
  • Longer service intervals due to longer lasting
  • Containers come with a large amount of grease for the price
  • Color allows for easy identification of high wear areas on internals
  • Better cold weather performance in some applications

Cons

  • None
