All of the electronics in the Epiphany and Eos should be interchangeable, being as they are built off the same platform. You may want to contact Virtue however to make sure.

Whenever you are confused or have a question regarding your Eos, the first thing you should probably do is consult the manual.

For the Eos manual, visit:

http://www.smartparts.com/Manuals/EOS.pdf

It contains all the information regarding maintenance, settings, tuning, etc.

In our testing we had the best luck with the Blue insert. Every setup is potentially different, so what worked for us isn't necessarily going to work for others.

In our ROF settings, we set the delay to the lowest setting possible and let the Vision system and our loader take care of worrying about feed rate.

In defense of our comparison, as with all "yearly" models, maxrof compares and looks at change from the previous model. This is more important, in our opinion, than comparing it to another company's marker.

As said previously, most tournament markers today shoot like champs. Comparing an Eos to a Mini is going to be like comparing red apples to green ones. Sure they taste a little different, but they are pretty much so the same thing.

This is why we've chosen to compare yearly based markers to their previous versions, instead of other companies. A good deal of companies today have fallen into the game of simply producing things for profit. IE: change some colors, milling, and resell as the new "revolutionary marker". We aren't a fan of that, so our grades take this factor into account. Whether or not the Epiphany has been discontinued is not important to us, as we will still use it for a comparison to its offspring.

I kind of agree w/ John. This was a really weak review. I own an Eos and i really like it. I tried out everything in its price range and the Eos, to me, felt like the most complete marker. Granted it does look overpriced when u compare it to the Epiphany, but the Epiphany is a discontinued marker. Its price is reduced as such. I think it's a little unfair to compare it to a "clearanced" marker. The correct marker to which u should have measured the Eos is to that of the Mini or another similarly priced marker. I saw no mention of that in the review. I do agree that the board is a little weak, but most people upgrade to virtue anyways. Hell, most of the guys that play w/ DM's and Ego's upgrade to virtue, and their stock boards are already nice.
